Finally there is an announcement for Donut Run III. The event will be held on November 9, 2019. It looks like the weather will be around 40 degrees so you can warm up with donuts, apples (cider?) and cheese.
The morning will start at 09:00 at the Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA) bus stop called the 157th St Station (15865 Pilot Knob Rd., Apple Valley, MN 55124).
From there we will head via a fun route to Hanisch Bakery (https://hanischbakery.com/) in Red Wing. The bakery was voted #1 in Minnesota by viewers of WCCO TV.
The next stop will be Pepin Heights Orchard in Lake City, MN where you can get your fill of apples, cider and stuff. The Pepin Heights Store was purchased by the Ferguson family in 2018 but continues to operate under the Pepin Heights name (https://www.fergusonsorchard.com/pepinheights).
Our final stop of the day will be the Original Nelson Cheese Factory (www.nelsoncheese.com) in Nelson, MN for lunch and cheese. If you feel lost being in Wisconsin, we can provide suggestions for getting back to civilization.
